La Taverna Antica preserves name and tradition of typical dishes. It wins over you for the peculiarity of its architecture, unique in the area, that reminds of an old-fashioned atmosphere. 

The same dishes prepared by Auntie Bettina are still wisely proposed by the cook Franca who has been able to preserve the inherited flavors of recipes.

There are several appointments with taste, themed gastronomic proposals so to discover new dishes.


Seasonality and authenticity of the products are guaranteed by a careful research of subjects on the territory such as: olive oil of Aprutini hills, meat of high Pescara valley, vegetables of Santo Stefano di Sessanio, potatoes from Avezzano and flour of Elice to heap bread and fresh pasta, the queen of first courses with hand pulled dough.

Cooking methods allow to perfectly exalt each ingredient, satisfying all tastes even the most demanding. Delecious vegetarian options are guaranteed too.
